For an inversion, the abs must work in conjunction with the hip flexors and quads to bring the legs towards the torso, but they also lift the weight of the hips. This chapter is separated into two sections: The first isolates the abs without incorporating any compression through what I call the Sofa Ab Series. The second section contains abdominal focused compression drills, where the focus is in keeping the legs as close to the body as possible.
